Me at the 2025 Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala in New York, celebrating my winning case study!
Hello!! I’m Sidney Shaffer, a multidisciplinary designer and fashion marketing student with a deep love for history, textiles, and the visual arts. I’ve always believed that the best way to understand fashion is by learning everything outside of it—an idea that fuels my curiosity and shapes my work. My creativity is bold but grounded, driven by careful observation and a practical approach. At SCAD, I’ve directed editorial shoots and campaigns, and my experience as a secondhand buyer taught me the value of reuse and the importance of responsible consumption. When I’m not on set or in class, you’ll find me painting in my home studio, getting lost in my ever-growing stack of books, or trying a new tea blend.
While studying Fashion Marketing and Management at school, I also enjoy taking on creative projects and applying my artistic skills. I’m an advocate for using both creative and business approaches to solve problems.
This is me hand-painting a skirt for a fashion design student's senior collection.
SCAD Runway Show 2024
Through school, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a model and be featured on Vogue Runway. Balancing modeling with my studies has taught me valuable lessons about being on set, managing my time, and building confidence. I carry these lessons and values with me in everything I do.
